: Kasargod Police have arrested an autorickshaw driver and his
friend from Badiadka on the charges of raping a minor girl. The
arrests were made on July 21, Sunday after the girl’s parents lodged a
complaint on Saturday.
The
arrested are Ibrahim Khaleel(34), the auto driver and Khalid(32).The
incident is learnt to have taken place a week ago but came to light only
on Saturday when the girl revealed it to her parents.The incident took place when the high school girl was waiting for an autorickshaw to go to school. Khaleel who agreed to take the girl to the school, instead took her to a house in a secluded area where he along with his friend Khalid allegedly raped her.
Badiadka police are investigating.
